Welcome back to my Plastic Surgery Journey BBL and Tummy Tuck three month check in! If you want to read about some of the previous check-ins or see some FAQ click on the links!
What’s new??? I’ve mainly continued to see improvement with:
- Overall swelling (especially when I eat low-sodium)
- My energy has greatly improved
- I moved on to a stage 2 Faja (compression garment)
- I am still getting lymphatic massages, but I have gone down to once a week
- I am able to get up, sneeze, and laugh with minimal soreness
- I still sleep on my back, slightly elevated, with a neck pillow, but I sleep pretty well
- I no longer need to use my BBL pillow (but still do while working at my desk)
- Am so happy to see what is close to my final shape!
I am SOOOOOO happy I made this decision! Not going to lie, I had some doubts in the early days, but I had been told multiple times to trust the process and I’m so glad I did. Since I am so far along now what I have now should be close to the final result and if so then I am incredibly pleased.
My bellybutton is still healing, but that is very normal. Your bellybutton is basically just scar tissue and scars generally don’t have a great blood supply so that is why they take much longer to heal. My other surgery scars are healed and starting to fade. I use my scar cream from my doctor, BioOil, and silicon scar strips to help move the process along. Keeping them out of the sun too is VERY important (not hard since they are all hidden 24/7 anyway)
I don’t have to wear my lipo foams underneath my faja anymore so I look more like a normal person now! Sometimes my faja does peek through my clothes, but for the most part its pretty invisible. Once the weather cools off a bit and we are back to wearing longer sleeves and pants then I think it will be even less visible than it is now. I think I have to wear this until November, but I’ve heard some people wear them even longer.
Here are some before and afters for reference, but if you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or reach out on social media!

So excited to see how my body changes in the next few months especially after I can start being more active! Right now it’s just too hot and too uncomfortable in my faja to do much more than walk, but everything in due time.
Let me know if you have any questions! Happy Reading!
